Report by the Acting Attorney General

on Ordinance No. of 1896.

Attorney General's Office, Hong Kong

13th July, 1896.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance for the Naturalization of Lee Matthews,"

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's instructions.

Mr. Lee Show has resided in this Colony for the last seven years and declared his intention of residing permanently here.
